Office Policies

I am excited about providing you with innovative tools for stress repair and optimal health. My service to you can begin with clear information about my office policies so you can make an informed decision about seeking care with me.  

Complementary Medical Therapy

The complementary medical therapy I provide is meant to be used in conjunction with the treatment you receive from your primary care physician and other medical specialists. You are expected to maintain a relationship with your primary care physician or treating physician while under my care. While I am board certified in Internal Medicine and trained as a primary care physician, I will not act as your primary care physician. I will complement the care you receive from your regular doctor.

Informed Consent

I will provide oral and written information about the types of treatments I offer. The Informed Consent includes a discussion of risks and benefits of therapy. You will be asked to sign a form confirming that you have been informed of those issues. Therapies I offer have minimal, if any risk to you.

Health Information Privacy

I honor your right to privacy. As a healthcare practitioner, I will provide you with written education about your right to health information privacy, and my policy regarding that. I follow the guidelines outlined by Federal law. You will be asked to sign this form once you have read it.

Insurance

I DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE. Health insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. I do not accept Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation, or any other type of insurance. Insurance forms are not accepted as payment for office visits. You will be provided with a receipt for our services. While you may choose to submit this to your insurance company for reimbursement, I do not guarantee that you will be reimbursed.

Most of my services are eligible for reimbursement through a Health Savings Account (HSA).

Financial Policy

Full payment is due at time of service.
